Instructors at Oklahoma State University utilize a variety of technologies to instruct, engage, and evaluate their students in face-to-face classes as well as when teaching online. Mobile apps, student-response systems (Clickers), video recordings, even VR headsets and 3D printers are all used to make course content more relevant and help students learn about difficult concepts in new and exciting ways. This symposium will bring together OSU instructors who are effectively implementing technology-based solutions to enhance their classes, engage with a variety of instructional technologies, and obtain ideas for how they can implement similar solutions in their own classes. This event will focus on sharing evidence from personal experiences with instructional technology that can be used across disciplines and educational environments. All faculty, staff, and GTAs are welcome to attend and present at the event in order to learn from their peers and get ideas for implementing technologies that can impact their teaching and enhance the engagement level of their students.
Each participant will be charged a $10 conference fee. This also includes breakfast. If you plan to pay the fee personally, simply include your CWID. If your department plans to cover the fee, please include the appropriate account number.
